From Northern Italy (Milan, Verona, Venice): take the A4 motorway towards Trieste. Exit at Trieste/Lisert, then follow the SS202 (Grande Viabilità Triestina) towards the city center. Reach Piazza Oberdan, near the central station. The Museum is located at Via XXIV Maggio 4. The Oberdan Memorial is outside the building. Paid parking is available in the area.

From Slovenia (Ljubljana, Koper, Sežana): cross the border at Fernetti/Sežana and follow the SS58/SS202 towards Trieste. Enter the city heading for Piazza Oberdan, a short distance from the railway station. The Civic Museum of the Risorgimento is located at Via XXIV Maggio 4. The Oberdan Memorial is outside the building. Paid parking is available in the area.

From Austria (Vienna, Klagenfurt, Villach): take the A2 (E59) motorway to the Tarvisio border, then continue on the A23 (E59) towards Udine and then on the A4 (E70) towards Trieste.
