Our background

CoopCulture was founded in 2010 through the merger of the Pierreci and Codess Cultura cooperatives, resulting in the integration of two successful businesses.

Codess Cultura worked for many years to protect, preserve and promote Italy's artistic, historic and environmental heritage, working alongside public and private organisations in northern and central Italy; founded in the 1990s, Pierreci offered integrated services in the most important museums and archaeological sites in Rome, Lazio and Campania.

In 2017, after working in partnership for a number of years, the merger with Copat was launched, a Turin-based cooperative that for over thirty years provided services for libraries, museums and archives in many regions of Italy.
